About This

  • HOLLOW CORE BRAIDED FISHING LINE BUILT TO SPLICE: The hollow center takes a needle splice, so you can join a mono or fluorocarbon top shot without a knot. The connection stays slim and runs through the guides and rod tip without catching.
  • 16 STRAND CONSTRUCTION THAT OPENS EASILY: Sixteen high-tenacity polyethylene carriers make the weave supple enough to open on a splicing needle, yet tight enough to hold its round shape, grip the leader, and stay smooth under heavy drag.
  • TWICE THE LINE CAPACITY OF MONOFILAMENT: Hollow core packs far more yardage onto the same reel than mono of equal strength, which is the backing you need when a tuna, marlin, or wahoo takes a long, fast run away from the boat.
  • BRAIDED FISHING LINE MADE IN THE USA: FINS Hollow Core is designed, engineered, and braided in Erlanger, Kentucky. Domestic production and in-house testing keep diameter, color, and breaking strength consistent from one spool to the next.
  • METERED, WHITE, AND YELLOW: Metered braid changes color at set intervals so you can count line out and repeat a depth or a drop. White and yellow stay easy to track on the surface when you are watching a spread or working a bait.
  • HOW TO USE: Splice a mono or fluorocarbon top shot with a splicing needle and serve the tag. Run it on conventional or spinning reels for trolling, kite and live bait fishing, deep dropping, and vertical or slow pitch jigging.
  • SIZES AND TARGET SPECIES: Choose 60, 80, 100, 130, 150, 200, 250, or 300 lb test on 100, 300, 600, 1200, 2400, or 4800 yard spools. Built for tuna, marlin, sailfish, swordfish, wahoo, amberjack, grouper, snapper, shark, and tarpon.
